Spa Policies

Yes, lovelies there are some rules…

Clean Slate Spa Service Guarantee and Refund Policy-At Clean Slate Spa, we guarantee all services rendered. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, please inform us within 3 days from the original date of your service to correct the issue.  Requests made after 3 days from the date of the original date of service will be under the discretion of the owner. However, due to the artistic nature of this business, Clean Slate Spa does not provide a refund on any service rendered.

Cancellation and Lateness Policy-At Clean Slate Spa, we aim to provide unparalleled service, so please be on time to enjoy the full length of your service. In an effort to respect everyone’s time and busy schedules, including clients with appointments scheduled after yours, late arrivals can use their remaining time to enjoy their service or reschedule for another day. However, a reschedule for a late arrival is treated as a no-show and the cost of the service still applies and must be paid. Please try to avoid stress in your life and allow ample time to arrive and relax.

In addition, Clean Slate Spa also requires 24 hours when cancelling an appointment, so that we may have ample time to offer that appointment to another client. A $25.00 fee will be charged to your credit card on file for appointments cancelled or rescheduled without the 24 hour notice. If you need to cancel your appointment, please log into your account and cancel. If your appointment is within 24 hours, the system will not allow you to cancel without the $25 cancellation fee charged. Due to undelivered emails and texts, I do not accept cancellations through email or text messages. If you do message me and it is not within 24 hours, I will direct you to the online booking software to cancel your appointment. If the cancellation is within the 24 hours, I will cancel your appointment for you and you will be charged the $25 late notice cancellation fee. This fee MUST be paid prior to your next appointment. If the credit card on file declines or there is no card on file, you will receive an Square invoice via email that must be paid within 48 hours.  

If you cancel/reschedule the same appointment 2 times or more, you will be required to prepay for that service and/or your online booking privileges are suspended. 

Lastly, if the cancellation is made within 2 hours of the scheduled service, it is considered a no-show (please see fees associated with no-shows below).

No Show Policy– A no show defined as a missed appointment, an appointment cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled service time or arriving more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time, will result in a fee equal to the full charge of the scheduled service. Your credit card on file will be charged a fee equal to the cost of the service(s) scheduled that day. The fee MUST be paid prior to booking any future appointments. If a service package or gift certificate is on file, the fee will be deducted from your account. If the credit card on file declines, you will receive an Square invoice via email that must be paid within 48 hours. NO other bookings at Clean Slate Spa will be allowed until the fee is paid.

In addition, if any appointment is missed, on-line appointment booking privileges will also be suspended. All appointments are confirmed via-email, text message and/or a confirmation telephone call.

New Client Booking at Clean Slate Spa-All new clients (first time visits) will be required to pay a $25 booking fee to schedule an appointment at Clean Slate Spa. This fee can be used towards your final checkout. If you service is less than $50, the booking fee is $15. Over $100 the fee is $50. This fee is non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation (under 24 hours) or a no-show. This fee will be charged to your credit card on file approximately 48 hours before your appointment. If you reschedule your first appointment, you will still be required to pay the booking fee at the time of the reschedule. You will receive a receipt for this transaction. If there is no credit card on file or your credit card on file declines, you will receive an invoice for the booking fee through Square invoices. If this invoice is not paid at the end of the day it was sent, your appointment will be cancelled. If you can cancel your appointment, and it is outside of the late cancellation window, you will be refunded your booking fee within 24 hours. No Exceptions.

Booking Fee For Higher Ticket Services-All clients will be required to pay a $50 booking fee if the the service price is over $100. This fee can be used towards your final checkout. This fee will be charged to your account approximately 48 hours before your appointment. You will receive a receipt for this transaction. If there is no credit card on file or your credit card on file declines, you will receive an invoice for the booking fee through Square invoices. If this invoice is not paid at the end of the day it was sent, your appointment will be cancelled.  Fee is non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation (under 24 hours) or a no-show (a no, call no show to your appointment or an attempt to cancel within 2 hours of your appointment time). No Exceptions.

Eyelash Extension Appointments-Clean Slate Spa requires all new eyelash extension clients to provide a $50.00 booking fee to hold appointments. An invoice through Square will be sent to the email on file and must be paid online at least 5 days prior to your appointment, or the appointment will be released to another client. You are more than welcome to use the booking fee as a partial method of payment upon checkout. The booking fee will be forfeited for a no-show or a cancellation with less than a 48 hour notice. No Exceptions.

Microblading Appointments- Clean Slate Spa requires all microblading clients to provide a $100.00 booking fee to hold appointments. Your credit card on file will be charged within 48 hours of the appointment booking. If there is no card on file or if your credit card declines, an invoice through Square will be sent to the email on file and must be paid online at least 24 hours after it is sent. You are more than welcome to use the booking fee as a partial method of payment upon checkout. The booking fee will be forfeited for a no-show or a cancellation with less than a 72 hour notice. No Exceptions.

Your Appointment Your Responsibility-As a courtesy, we offer text and email confirmations and reminders of appointments. However, failing to read them or receive them does not waive your responsibility to arrive for your scheduled service.

Brazilian Waxing, Periods and Cancellations-While I understand life is unpredictable at times, please plan your Brazilian wax according to your monthly schedule if you are uncomfortable receiving a wax while you have your period. If you cancel for this reason within the 24 hour late notice cancellation time, you will still be charged the $25 late notice cancellation fee. This fee must be paid prior to booking any future appointments.

Children-Clean Slate Spa loves children! We will always welcome children who are receiving services. Children under the age of 8 are never to be left unattended and unsupervised in the waiting area while parent/guardian receives services. Children of any age are always welcome in our private suites.  However, crying, screaming or disruptive children interrupt the serenity of clients receiving services in other suites and will be asked to leave immediately.  If you are asked to leave in the middle of a service, you are still responsible for payment for that service. No Exceptions. To avoid stress, please leave your little ones in the care of a loved one.

Spa Services=”No Spectators”-Only one client will be allowed in the treatment room at any given time. This includes all friends, family, and children. Significant others are absolutely not allowed in the treatment room during your service at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS, SO PLEASE DON’T ASK. This is not only for your comfort and privacy, but also so that I can give you my undivided attention. Your guest is always welcome to relax in our waiting area while you receive your service.

Product Return Policy-Unopened products may be returned for a refund.  Opened products may be returned for a spa credit only.

Clean Slate Spa Gift Certificate Policy-Clean Slate Spa gift certificates do not expire. However, there is a 50% inactivity fee after 1 year from the date of issue. Gift certificates have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable.

Clean Slate Spa reserves the right to refuse service.
