What to expect the day of the appointment…
Timing – A typical microblading, powder and/or shading appointment lasts anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hours. A perfecting appointment can take anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the amount of work needed to complete your service.
Consent Forms and Interview – You will be sent an online consent form, please submit prior to your appointment. You will be asked a series of questions about your style, what kind of makeup you wear and your preferences about shape. Your clear and honest answers will assist in understanding your expectations.
Brow Map and Pigment Selection- You will have your brows mapped directly on your skin using the “golden ratio”, as well as choose the pigment color based on your under and overtones of your skin, brow hair color and desired outcome. No microblading will begin until the shape and pigment color is approved by you!
Numbing – Numbing cream will be applied on the area to make the process more comfortable. In addition, you will be continually numbed throughout the entire service.
Process – You will be laying down for approximately 2 hours. Once the service begins, I ask that talking be kept to a minimum.
Schedule Touch Up Appointment-Upon completion of your first visit, we will schedule your touch up appointment in 8-10 weeks. This appointment is complimentary. *Pigment retention in the skin can be unpredictable and many factors such as skin type (oily, aging, sun-damaged, etc.), skin product usage, lifestyle, as well as medications can alter retention. All which can and do affect the desired outcome. If you require a 3rd touch appointment, there will be a $50.00 fee. No exceptions.
PMU booking fees, cancellation and no show policies…
For all new appointments, Clean Slate Spa requires a $100 booking fee. When the appointment is initially booked, an invoice will be sent from Square to the email on file. You may use your booking fee as a partial payment method upon check-out. The booking fee is non-refundable for a cancellation of less than 72 hours or a no-show. No exceptions.
Clean Slate Spa requires a $50.00 booking for all perfecting appointments (except complimentary appointments for Clean Slate Spa clients only). When the appointment is initially booked, an invoice will be sent from Square to the email on file. You may use your booking fee as a partial payment method upon check-out. The booking fee is non-refundable for a cancellation of less than 72 hours or a no-show. No exceptions.
Yearly PMU touch-up appointments do not include the 8-10 week complementary touch up appointment. No exceptions.
There is no additional charge for the complimentary PMU appointment (booked at 8-10 weeks). If you cancel your perfecting appointment within the 24 hour late notice cancellation period or reschedule it past 10 weeks from the first visit appointment, there is a charge of $50.00. No exceptions.
In the event you would like to reschedule your “first visit” appointment, you may do so on our website or by texting (262) 784-0828, any time up to 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled appointment. Also, if you reschedule more than once, you will be required to provide 1/2 of the total cost of the service at the time of reschedule. No exceptions.
Appointments occurring within the next 72 hours may not be rescheduled. If you need to cancel your appointment within 72 hours of your service, your booking fee will not be refunded.
You will receive a text and/or email approximately 4 days prior to your appointment. Out of respect for my small business, you must confirm your appointment a minimum of 72 hours in advance. Appointments that are not confirmed at least 72 hours before they are scheduled will be cancelled due to no confirmation.
Please arrive to your microblading appointment on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, Clean Slate Spa reserves the right to cancel your appointment and your booking fee will not be refunded. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your perfecting appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled and your subsequent appointment will no longer be complimentary.
